Gent S4T-711-V-VAD-HPR Self-Test, Voice & Red VAD

The S4T-711-V-VAD-HPR is a Gent by Honeywell S4 SELF-TEST Dual Optical Heat Sensor with Voice Sounder and High Power Red VAD, part of the S-Quad Self-Test (S4T) multi-sensor range. It integrates dual optical and heat detection with audible voice alarm and visual alarm device output, featuring the patented Self-Test function that performs automated smoke and heat self-tests across an expected 0 to 40°C range. The device operates on a 35V-48V fire alarm loop and incorporates a new IP21 external moulding and detector chamber design, achieving an IP21C ingress protection rating.

Designed for reliable performance in varied environments, the sensor functions within an ambient operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C and can be stored between -20°C and +65°C. It tolerates up to 95% relative humidity non-condensing between +5°C and +45°C. The unit withstands air velocities of 0 to 20 m/s for fire detection and 0 to 1.5 m/s around the device, helping to ensure stability in dynamic air conditions. Mechanical specifications include a sensor head diameter of 117 mm and height of 63 mm (70 mm with base), a weight of 152 g for the head only (212 g with standard base), and availability in white (RAL 9010) or black (RAL 9005) finishes. Compatibility requires the S4-700 common base, with optional accessories including IP21 base covers (S4-705), semi-flush mounting kit (S4-FLUSH), and remote LED (13449-01).
