The S4-711-V is a Gent by Honeywell S4 Dual OH / Voice Sounder, a loop-powered device from the S4 Detectors range that combines dual optical/heat sensing with an integrated voice sounder in a single addressable unit. It features a load factor of 8.25, allowing up to 120 devices per loop, and operates within a temperature range of -10 to +50°C. The unit weighs 0.11kg, increasing to 0.17kg when including the base, and is finished in white.
This device complies with EN54-3 for sensor sounders and meets the requirements of EN54-5, 7, 17, and 18 for fire detection and alarm systems. It is designed to mount on the common S4-700 base, with IP21 base covers (S4-705) required to maintain compliance with relevant standards. The S4-711-V supersedes the S4-711-VO model and is compatible with the S4-700-34K adapter base for retrofitting onto existing 34000 bases, as well as the S4-FLUSH semi-flush mounting kit for non-VAD/sounder applications.
