We supply Gent Compact Plus fire alarm panels, expansion cards and replacement parts for fire alarm engineers, specifiers and trade buyers. COMPACT-PLUS is the black Vigilon Compact Plus addressable control panel.

Replacement Inner Door Assembly for Compact Plus and Compact-24 Panel (supplied in Black)
It comes with one loop card for a single detection loop. A second card expands the panel to two loops. COMPACT-PLUS operates from 0°C to 45°C. The panel is approved to EN 54-2 and EN 54-4. COMPACT-NODE provides a central display and controls for the network. We also supply mounting surrounds and replacement door assemblies for the panel and node. Replacement electronics include main control boards and power supplies. We supply PRINTER-HAND as a handheld thermal printer. PRINTER-H-PAPER is its separately ordered 58mm replacement roll.
COMPACT-LPC-EN adds the second detection loop to COMPACT-PLUS. COMPACT-NC connects the panel to a copper network. The panel can still use two detection loops with the network card fitted. We supply COMPACT-NODE with one copper network card. The node has no detection loops of its own. For replacement electronics, VCS-MCB-PLUS is the main control board for the panel and node. VCS-PSU-N is their replacement power supply. It also fits NANO-24. Our other Gent by Honeywell panel ranges are Vigilon Plus and Nano. VIGPLUS-24 supports up to four loops. VIGPLUS-72 supports up to six. Both Vigilon Plus models come with one loop card. NANO-24 is a single-loop panel without networking.
For semi-flush mounting, we supply COMPACT-FLUSH in black for COMPACT-PLUS and COMPACT-NODE. The stainless steel COMPACT-FLUSH-SS surround fits the same panel and node. It needs the separately ordered VIG-RPT-DOOR-SS stainless steel door. We supply COMPACT-PLUS and COMPACT-NODE without batteries. Each needs two separately ordered 4015-514-YFR 12V 12Ah batteries. VCS-IDOOR-PLUS is the black inner door assembly for the panel and node. This is the panel's display and key card. VCS-ODOOR-PLUS is their black outer door assembly. The grey VCS-ODOOR fits the older Vigilon Compact 24hr panel. Our Gent Legacy range includes the older COMPACT-LPC loop card.

- Which loop card adds a second loop to COMPACT-PLUS?
- COMPACT-LPC-EN adds a second detection loop to COMPACT-PLUS. The panel comes with one loop card. It supports two detection loops with the optional network card fitted. Loop card software must be V4.49 or later. Main board software must be V4.54 or later. Each loop supports up to 200 compatible devices. The usable device count and cable length depend on device mix, alarm load and layout. We supply the additional loop card separately.
- What does COMPACT-NC add to the panel?
- COMPACT-NC adds a copper network connection to COMPACT-PLUS. It lets the panel exchange data with other networked units. The panel can still use two detection loops with this network card fitted. The second loop card uses a socket on the network card. COMPACT-NC also fits COMPACT-NODE. We supply the node with one copper network card included. For COMPACT-PLUS, we supply COMPACT-NC as a separate optional card.
- What is COMPACT-NODE used for?
- COMPACT-NODE provides a central point for viewing events and using controls on a Vigilon network. It has no detection loops of its own. The backlit display shows eight lines of 40 characters. Front buttons let users scroll through fire messages. The node supports surface mounting. For semi-flush mounting, it takes the optional COMPACT-FLUSH surround. We supply COMPACT-NODE in black, with one copper network card and no batteries.
- Are batteries included with COMPACT-PLUS and COMPACT-NODE?
- No, batteries are ordered separately for COMPACT-PLUS and COMPACT-NODE. Each requires two 4015-514-YFR Power Sonic Flame Retardant 12V 12Ah batteries. Allow one pair for each panel or node on the order. The standby target is 24 hours followed by 30 minutes in alarm. Actual standby time depends on the connected load. The Battery Standby and Loop Load calculator checks the standby target against the connected equipment. We supply both units with an integral mains power supply, without batteries.
- Which mounting surround fits a Gent Compact panel?
- COMPACT-FLUSH and COMPACT-FLUSH-SS fit COMPACT-PLUS for semi-flush mounting. Both surrounds also fit COMPACT-NODE and the older COMPACT-24-N panel. COMPACT-FLUSH is black. COMPACT-FLUSH-SS is stainless steel. The stainless steel surround needs the separately ordered VIG-RPT-DOOR-SS door. Both surrounds need a wall opening 320mm wide, 380mm high and at least 93mm deep. We supply the black and stainless steel surrounds as separate items.
