S4 SELF TEST Black Dual Optical Heat Sensor + Voice Sounder & High Power Red VAD
All four models combine dual optical smoke sensing with heat detection. The S4BK-711 provides detection without a sounder. The S4BK-711-V adds voice messages. For combined audible and visual alarms, we supply a voice sounder model with a red visual alarm device (VAD). We also supply a black self-test model for optical and heat testing. Engineers can choose detection alone, voice output or a combined voice and visual alarm.
We supply the S4BK-711 and S4BK-711-V for Gent by Honeywell Vigilon Plus, Compact Plus and Nano panels. The S4BK-711-V-VAD-HPR combines smoke and heat detection with a voice sounder and High Power red VAD. Its VAD runs at Low Power on Nano. High and Medium Power need an Enhanced Loop Card. The S4TB-711-V-VAD-HPR provides optical and heat self-testing on Vigilon Plus and Compact Plus. Self-test needs main controller software 4.64 or later. The panel’s loop processor software must be 4.58 or later. Self-test also needs current EN54 loop cards and a CLSS gateway for each network domain. The CLSS app and a self-test licence are required.
We supply the S4BK-711 head separately from its S4BK-700 black base. The base sits in our S4 Bases & Accessories range. We also supply the S4BK-705 black IP21 plate there in packs of five. Head size differs between the standard and self-test models. All four heads are 117mm in diameter. The three S4BK heads are 49.6mm high. The self-test head is 63mm high. - The S4TB-711-V-VAD-HPR tests its optical and heat sensing functions. An internal generator produces test smoke. The panel checks the response from both optical channels. An airflow test checks smoke entry as the test smoke clears. The heat test warms the thermistor to check its response. Self-test needs the CLSS app and an active self-test licence. We supply this black self-test detector with a voice sounder and High Power red VAD.
