S4 Audio & Visual Only
We supply Gent VAD and S4M sounder devices for ceiling mounting. We offer three S-Quad S4M alarm options for specifiers and installers.
The Gent S4M sounder, S4M-S, provides audible warning. S4M-VAD-LPR provides a Standard Power red visual alarm. S4M-V-VAD-LPR combines a voice sounder with a Standard Power red VAD. Each device has a white housing. All three take power from the panel loop. Each fits the S4-700 mounting base. Choose the alarm function to match the warning needed at each ceiling position.
We supply Vigilon Plus, Compact Plus and Nano fire alarm panels from Gent by Honeywell. S4M support on Vigilon and Vigilon Compact requires EN 54 loop cards. Legacy loop cards do not support these devices. Controller software must be version 4.64 or later. Loop card software must be version 4.58 or later. Commissioning uses the Vigilon tool at version 1.40 or later. All three S4M devices operate from a 35–48V loop supply. Each head measures 117mm in diameter and 63mm high. The voice model plays an attention tone before its spoken message. Its red VAD provides visual warning at the same position. We supply this combined device as S4M-V-VAD-LPR.
For a Gent visual alarm device alongside separate audible warning, choose the visual-only model. S4M-S suits a position requiring sound alone. Choose S4M-V-VAD-LPR when the specification needs speech and visual warning together. Custom messages on the voice model use the S4T-BASE-PROGRAM programmer. We supply this programmer through S4 Bases & Accessories. We also supply the S4-700 mounting base through that range. The 805576 label plate carries device location details.
