S4 Duct & Accessories
We supply Gent duct detector housings and S4 (S-Quad) duct accessories for specifiers, fire alarm engineers and trade buyers. The S4-34760 kit includes the housing, an S-Quad base and a 0.6m sampling tube.
We supply the compatible S4-715 optical smoke sensor separately. The sensor detects smoke in air sampled from the ventilation duct. For larger ducts, we supply separate 1.5m and 2.8m tubes. The S4-34760-99 bracket supports the housing on circular or insulated ducts. These are the housing, sampling and mounting parts for a duct smoke detector assembly.
The S4-34760 housing sits outside the duct. A Venturi tube carries sampled air to the S4-715 optical smoke sensor inside the housing. Air returns to the duct after passing through the detection chamber. The sensor takes its power from the fire alarm loop. It sends alarm and fault messages to the connected panel. We supply this housing for use with the S4-715 on Vigilon Plus, Compact Plus and Nano systems. S4-34760-15 is the 1.5m tube for duct diameters from 600mm to 1400mm. S4-34760-28 is the 2.8m tube for diameters from 1400mm to 2700mm. We supply S4-34760-99 separately for mounting the housing on circular or insulated ducts.
For a new housing assembly, order the S4-34760 kit and the S4-715 sensor separately. The kit already includes the base and 0.6m tube. Select a longer tube by duct diameter. The 1.5m and 2.8m tubes are separate accessories for the housing. Add the S4-34760-99 bracket for circular or insulated ducts, including insulated rectangular ductwork.
