Trim the tube to the installed duct size. It passes through the opposite duct wall, where it needs support, and projects about 30 mm beyond that wall, without exceeding 30 mm. The cut length must also allow for the spacing between the housing and duct when a mounting bracket is fitted.
The housing-side duct opening is 38 mm in diameter; the opposite-wall opening is 50 mm. Deburr the 38 mm opening and fit the seals at the duct penetration. At the housing, fit the rubber gasket around the tube, insert it into the oval opening and secure it with the housing kit's short screw. Close the free end with the end cap.
Use the S4-34760-99 mounting bracket for circular or insulated ducts. The bracket bends to the duct shape and has pre-punched fixing holes. The housing arrow must follow the air flow, with the tube positioned centrally across the duct.
