Nano
We supply the Gent Nano panel, mounting bezel and spares pack for specifiers, fire alarm engineers and trade buyers. NANO-24 manages one analogue addressable loop.
Compatible sensors, sounders, call points and interfaces share that loop. The panel has 16 zone indicators. Its controls include reset, alarm sounding and alarm silencing. Separate indicators show sounder faults, power faults and system faults. We supply NANO-FLUSH for recessed mounting and NS-SPARE as the Nano spares pack. NANO-24 comes without batteries, which need a separate order.
NANO-24 is the single-loop panel alongside the Vigilon Plus and Compact Plus families from Gent by Honeywell. It cannot form a network of fire alarm panels. For two detection loops, we supply COMPACT-PLUS with one loop card fitted. A second loop card adds the second loop. VIGPLUS-24 supports up to four loops. VIGPLUS-72 supports up to six loops. We supply both panels with one loop card each. Additional cards provide the extra loops. Within the Nano range, NANO-FLUSH is the optional bezel for NANO-24. It fits a wall opening 347mm wide by 406mm high. The opening needs a depth of at least 75mm.
We supply NANO-24 for single-loop systems. Order two 4015-501-YFR Power Sonic Flame Retardant 12V 7Ah batteries separately. NANO-24 supports surface mounting without a bezel. For a recessed panel, add NANO-FLUSH to the order. We also supply the bezel on its own. NS-SPARE is the Nano spares pack order code. For two detection loops, our Compact Plus range includes COMPACT-PLUS. For further loop expansion, our Vigilon Plus range includes VIGPLUS-24 and VIGPLUS-72. We supply sensors in our neighbouring S4 Detectors range.

- How many devices can NANO-24 support?
- NANO-24 supports up to 127 addressable devices on its single loop. The usable total depends on the electrical load, cable length and layout. Compatible loop devices include sensors, sounders, call points and interface units. The panel provides 16 zone indicators. Its LCD has eight lines of 40 characters. For a design requiring a second detection loop, we supply COMPACT-PLUS in the neighbouring Compact Plus range.
- Can NANO-24 connect to repeat indicator panels?
- Yes. NANO-24 supports up to four repeat indicator panels through its RS485 port. When only one repeat indicator is connected, it can use NANO-24's 24V supply. A system with multiple repeat indicators needs a separate 24V power supply. The furthest repeat indicator can be up to 1km of cable from NANO-24. This connection does not create a network of fire alarm control panels. We supply NANO-24 as the single-loop control panel.
