FAQs
What size wall opening does NANO-FLUSH need?
NANO-FLUSH needs a wall aperture 347mm wide and 406mm high, with a depth of at least 75mm. Those measurements describe the opening needed for the recessed mounting arrangement. The surround fixes to the side walls of that aperture through its 4mm diameter holes. Once it is secured, the Nano panel is inserted while its cables are fed through the cable entries. Three 5mm screws then secure the panel backbox to the fitted surround. These screws are not included with NANO-FLUSH.
Which panel does NANO-FLUSH fit?
NANO-FLUSH is the flush mounting bezel for the Gent Nano-24 fire alarm control panel. It provides the surround used when the panel is recessed into the wall. The surround is fitted first and secured to the sides of the opening. The panel backbox is then attached to it using three 5mm screws, which are not included with the bezel. For this installation, the wall opening is 347mm wide by 406mm high and must provide at least 75mm of depth for the recessed assembly.
What fixings are used with NANO-FLUSH?
There are two fixing arrangements in the NANO-FLUSH installation. The surround has 4mm diameter fixing holes for securing it to the side walls of the aperture. The panel backbox then attaches to the surround with three 5mm screws, which are not included with the bezel. Fit the surround into a 347mm wide by 406mm high opening with at least 75mm depth. Route the cables through the panel entries as the panel is inserted, before securing the backbox to the surround.
When are the cables routed into a recessed Nano panel?
With NANO-FLUSH, the surround is secured in the wall aperture before the panel is inserted. Feed the cables through the panel’s cable entry points as the panel is moved into the surround. The backbox is then fixed to the surround using three 5mm screws, which are not included with the bezel. The opening for this arrangement is 347mm wide, 406mm high and at least 75mm deep. The surround’s 4mm fixing holes are used for attachment to the side walls of the prepared aperture.
Is NANO-FLUSH needed for surface mounting a Nano-24?
NANO-FLUSH is used for the recessed, semi-flush mounting option. The Nano-24 also supports surface mounting, using the panel backbox’s three fixing points on a flat wall. For a recessed installation, the bezel sits in a wall aperture 347mm wide by 406mm high and at least 75mm deep. It attaches to the aperture sides, and the backbox is secured to it with three 5mm screws that are not included with the bezel. Cables are routed into the panel while it is inserted into the surround.
