The S4-715 provides optical smoke detection. The S4-710 combines optical smoke and heat sensing in one head. The S4-711 combines dual optical smoke sensing with heat detection. We supply the S4-720 for heat detection alone. For detection and audible warning in one head, the S4-770-S combines optical and heat sensing with a sounder.
We supply the S4-711-V for dual optical heat detection with spoken warning. The S4-711-VAD-HPR provides those sensing functions with a red High Power visual alarm device, or VAD. We supply the S4-711-V-VAD-HPR when both spoken and visual warning are needed. This model combines dual optical heat sensing with a voice sounder and red High Power VAD. It works with Vigilon Plus, Compact Plus and Nano systems. On Nano, its VAD is fixed at the Low Power setting. For a Gent S-Quad detector with sounder output, we supply the S4-771-S with dual optical heat sensing and an integral sounder. The S4-780-S pairs heat detection alone with an integral sounder.
We supply the S4-711-V-VAD-HPW for dual optical heat detection with voice and a white High Power VAD. The S4-711-V-VAD-LPR provides those sensing and voice functions with a Standard Power red VAD. For carbon monoxide sensing alongside dual optical smoke and heat detection, we supply the S4-901. Bases for the S4-711-V-VAD-HPR and S4-711-V-VAD-LPR are ordered separately through S4 Bases & Accessories. We supply black detector variants through S4 Black Detectors. We supply the S4T models through our S4 Self Test Detectors range.

We also supply the S4-711-V-VAD-LPR with dual optical heat sensing, voice and a Standard Power red VAD.
- Which S4 detectors include carbon monoxide sensing?
- We supply the S4-901 with dual optical smoke, heat and carbon monoxide sensing in a single detector head. The S4-901 has no voice sounder or visual alarm device. The S4-911-V-VAD-HPR combines those sensing functions with a voice sounder and a red High Power VAD. We also supply the S4-911-V-VAD-HPW with dual optical, heat and CO sensing, voice and a white High Power VAD.
- Can the S4-711-V-VAD-HPR be used with Nano?
- Yes, we supply the S4-711-V-VAD-HPR for Nano systems. Its visual alarm is fixed at the Low Power setting on Nano. It also works with Vigilon Plus and Compact Plus. This model combines dual optical heat sensing, a voice sounder and a red High Power VAD. It requires an IP21 mounting plate for EN 54-23 operation. We supply its base and IP21 mounting plate separately through S4 Bases & Accessories.
