FireAgent supplies fire-detection and alarm equipment certified to the relevant parts of BS EN 54, the European product standard for fire detection and fire alarm systems. Control and indicating equipment is certified to EN 54-2, power supply equipment to EN 54-4, point smoke detectors to EN 54-7, sounders to EN 54-3 and visual alarm devices (VADs) to EN 54-23, among others. Product is third-party certified (for example LPCB / BRE or the manufacturer's notified-body approvals), is UKCA / CE marked, and carries the manufacturer's Declaration of Performance (DoP).

In the UK, the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a system are governed by BS 5839-1 (non-domestic premises) and BS 5839-6 (dwellings). We supply the certified product; the responsible competent person designs and certifies the installation to the applicable standard. Where a project works under a third-party scheme such as BAFE or to FIA guidance, we can provide the product documentation your certification records require.

For substitutions we check compatibility with the existing panel, detection loop and standby-power (battery) calculation before recommending an equivalent, and we flag where a part is superseded so you fit the current, certified replacement. Every order can include the manufacturer datasheets, installation instructions and Declarations of Performance needed for the building's fire-safety file.
