We supply Gent detector base options and S-Quad accessories for engineers, specifiers and trade buyers ordering fire alarm parts. The Gent S4 700 detector base takes S-Quad sensor heads.
S4BK-700 is the base for black S-Quad detectors. For ceiling tiles, we supply the S4-FLUSH semi-flush kit. ALD-302 provides anti-ligature ceiling mounting with an S4-700 base. S4-700-34K adapts S-Quad sensors to retained 34000 bases. We also supply the S4T-DEMO self-test demonstration kit. The S4T-BASE-PROGRAM programmer base loads custom voice messages into S4M voice sounders.
S4-700 provides the mounting connection for S-Quad sensors used on Vigilon Plus, Compact Plus and Nano systems. We supply S4-701 as a kit containing one S4-700 base and one S4-705 IP21 plate. For plate-only orders, S4-705 comes in packs of five. We supply the black S4BK-705 IP21 plate in packs of five too. ALD-302 needs an S4-700 base for anti-ligature ceiling mounting. S4-FLUSH holds an S-Quad detector partly within a ceiling tile. Its housing consists of a main assembly and a trim ring. The kit has a white RAL 9010 finish. It measures 174 mm in diameter and 50 mm deep.
For device identification, we supply the 805576 base label plate in packs of ten. The 805580 removal tool kit includes a dust-cover remover. The 805589ST dust cover fits S4, S4T and S4M mouldings. We supply it in packs of 50. The 13449-01 remote LED connects to S4-700. An S4-700 base supports one remote LED at most. The 34701 T Breaker provides a spur from a Vigilon loop. - Does ALD-302 need an S4-700 detector base?
- Yes, ALD-302 requires an S4-700 detector base. Its magnetic switch maintains loop continuity when the assembly separates. That function needs no separate T Breaker. An anti-tamper lip obstructs the gap between the base and detector. The ALD-302 body measures 138 mm in diameter and 30 mm high. A removed assembly can be reinstated. We supply ALD-302 and the required S4-700 base.
- Can I retain a 34000 base when changing to S-Quad?
- Yes, S4-700-34K accepts an S-Quad sensor on a retained 34000 base. It fits three-way and four-way 34000 bases. The Vigilon panel cards need compatible software. The adapter is unsuitable for a base with a trim ring or flush surround. No additional S-Quad detector base is needed. The adapter body measures 112 mm in diameter and 35 mm high. We supply the S4-700-34K adapter in white RAL 9010 ABS.
- What does the S4T-DEMO kit include?
- S4T-DEMO includes an S4T-711 O2H ST detector, programmer base, metal stand, power supply and leads. It demonstrates optical and heat self-test functions. The demonstration software offers optical, heat and combined tests. Its graph plots forward scatter, backward scatter and heat. The graph controls let you play, pause and reset the display. We supply the S4T-DEMO kit with the detector and programmer base.
