Description
The Gent 805580 is the S-Quad removal tool kit for removing S-Quad detector heads from their fitted bases and fitting them back into place. It includes the dust-cover remover attachment, which screws onto the tool and grips the cover with a suction pad. The cradle also holds a dust cover while it is pushed onto the detector. To remove an unlocked head, turn it anticlockwise and lower it from the base; refit it by turning clockwise until it clicks and the alignment marks meet. A head secured with the base locking peg needs direct access to release that peg before it can be removed.

The 805580 kit handles S-Quad detector heads during removal and refitting. It also serves the S-Quad Self-Test and S4M ranges.
For head removal, engage the tool and turn the head anticlockwise to its stop before lowering it out of the base. For refitting, hold the head in the tool and turn it clockwise into the base until it clicks and the alignment marks meet.
The included dust-cover remover screws onto the main tool. Its pad grips the dust cover so that the cover can be pulled off. To fit a cover, place it inside the cradle and push it onto the detector.
A detector secured with the base locking peg cannot be removed remotely with the standard extractor. Release the locking peg by direct access before turning the head out of the base.
