It delivers C-3-10 coverage over 235.6 m³ at standard performance, draws up to 6mA (210mW) and is rated IP21C, supporting up to 133 devices per loop.
Technical overview
The S4M-VAD-LPR is a ceiling-mounted EN54-23 compliant Low Power Red Visual Alarm Device (VAD) by Gent by Honeywell, designed for small locations such as enclosed toilet cubicles. It provides C-3-10 coverage over 235.6 m³ at standard performance, drawing up to 6mA (210mW) and supporting up to 133 devices per loop.
Operating within a voltage range of 35V–48V, the device features a white housing (RAL 9010) made from Terluran GP-35 ABS and carries an IP21C ingress protection rating. Its dimensions are 117mm diameter × 63mm height for the head, increasing to 74mm with the base attached, and it weighs 145g head-only or 205g with the standard base.
Certified LPCB approved, the S4M-VAD-LPR is compatible with Vigilon system controllers requiring MCC/MCB card versions ≥4.61 and LPC card versions ≥4.54 where applicable, and should be commissioned using the Vigilon Commissioning Tool ≥V1.38. It requires the S4-700 mounting base and is supported by recommended accessories including the S4-705 IP21C plate, removal tool kit (805580), and label plates (805576).
