Cut the tube to suit the duct and mounting arrangement. The installed tube must be supported at the opposite duct wall and extend about 30 mm beyond it, without exceeding 30 mm. Include the spacing between housing and duct in the cut length when using a mounting bracket.
Provide a 38 mm duct opening at the housing side and a 50 mm opening at the opposite wall. Deburr the 38 mm opening and seal the far-wall penetration. Fit the rubber gasket at the tube's housing connection, locate it in the oval opening and secure it using the housing kit's short screw. The free end must have its end cap fitted.
The housing arrow follows the air flow, with the tube centred across the duct. Circular and insulated ducts require the S4-34760-99 mounting bracket. This bracket bends to the duct profile and provides pre-punched fixing holes; its offset must be allowed for when fitting the tube.
