The Gent COMPACT-LPC-EN is an additional loop card for the Vigilon Compact control panel on EN networks. It expands the panel's loop capacity within compatible Vigilon Compact installations.
Technical overview
The COMPACT-LPC-EN is an EN Compact Loop card, identified by the 'SEC-GEN LOOP CARD' marking along the long edge on the component side of its PCB, and is intended for use in a Vigilon Compact panel only — the named EN Compact panels being COMPACT-24, COMPACT-24-N and COMPACT-PLUS. Each loop carries up to 200 devices over 1.5mm² or 2.5mm² cable, and it operates in either standard or enhanced mode. It supports S4 and S3 Mark 1/2 devices and some legacy 34000 devices, but will not support the 34450 loop-powered 4-channel Interface, and a minimum panel software version is required.
