Description

The Gent M200E-SMB is a small plastic surface mounting box for one S4 low voltage interface on a Vigilon Plus, Compact Plus or Nano loop. We recommend it as a cost-effective housing for the S4-34410 and S4-34420. It also takes an S4-34450, although space for cabling is tight when all four channels are wired. Previously sold as S4-34493, the box is 40 mm deep and has a base and a separate cover with a viewing section. Two screws are included; the interface module is ordered separately. The same box is also used with Morley and System Sensor interface modules, including the M200XE isolator.

The M200E-SMB provides a surface housing for a single Gent S4 low voltage interface on Vigilon Plus, Compact Plus and Nano loops. We recommend it for the S4-34410 and S4-34420 as a cost-effective way to house one module. An S4-34450 also fits, but the cabling space is tight when all four channels are used.

The former order code for this box is S4-34493. The plastic box is 40 mm deep and consists of a base and a separate cover with a viewing section.

Two screws are supplied, and the interface module is ordered separately. Fix the base to the mounting surface, then secure the module and cover to the base with the screws.

The same enclosure is also used with Morley interface modules, including the MI/DCMOE, and the System Sensor M200 series. The System Sensor M200XE is one of the modules that mounts in this box.

Which Gent interfaces fit the M200E-SMB?

The M200E-SMB houses one S4-34410 or S4-34420, and is our cost-effective surface box for either module. These S4 low voltage interfaces are used on Vigilon Plus, Compact Plus and Nano loops. An S4-34450 also fits, but cabling space is tight when all four channels are connected. The enclosure is plastic, with a separate base and cover, and is 40 mm deep. Can I use the M200E-SMB for an S4-34450 with all four channels?

An S4-34450 fits in the M200E-SMB, but the cabling becomes tight when all four channels are wired. The box takes one interface module; that module can be the four-channel S4-34450. For a fully wired S4-34450, the larger S4-34490 plastic enclosure is the more suitable choice, with six knockouts serving the loop and channel connections. The M200E-SMB is 40 mm deep and comes with its base, cover and two screws. The interface module is supplied separately.
