Description
The Gent S4-34492 is a small metal enclosure for one S4-34410, S4-34420 or S4-34450 low voltage interface module. The dark grey backbox has a separate lid and measures 202mm wide, 125mm high and 50mm deep. It has 20mm and 25mm knockouts, seven usable cable entry points and termination points for incoming cables. Supplied with the backbox, lid and six fixing screws. The interface module is ordered separately. Cable screens connect to an earth terminal on the chassis or in the metal box. Its ingress protection is IP40, estimated. This is the enclosure we usually recommend for a bare S4 low voltage interface module.

The box has 20mm and 25mm knockouts and seven usable cable entry points. It also provides termination points for incoming cables. The cable screens must connect to an earth terminal on the chassis or in the metal box.
The enclosure is dark grey and measures 202mm wide by 125mm high by 50mm deep. Its ingress protection is IP40, estimated. The combined module and enclosure weight is 782g with an S4-34410 fitted, or 790g with an S4-34420 or S4-34450 fitted.
This is our usual enclosure choice for a bare S4 low voltage interface module. The M200E-SMB surface box is a cost-effective alternative for a single module. We recommend the large plastic S4-34490 for a fully wired four channel S4-34450. The S4-34496 houses six interfaces together, while the S4-34491 bracket pack provides DIN rail mounting inside other equipment.
