Description
The Gent S4-34490 is a large plastic enclosure for one S4-34410, S4-34420 or S4-34450 low voltage interface module. The module fits inside on two M4 screws and is ordered separately. The dark grey box has a light grey hinged door, opened with the supplied Allen key, and provides cable termination points for incoming cables. It measures 245mm wide, 227mm high and 77mm deep, with IP31 ingress protection. Three fixing points, including one keyhole, secure the box. We recommend it for a fully wired four channel S4-34450, bringing the loop connections and four channel cable runs into one housing.

The S4-34490 houses one S4-34410, S4-34420 or S4-34450 low voltage interface module. Each of these modules is supplied without an enclosure and is ordered separately. Two M4 screws secure the module inside this box, which also provides termination points for incoming cables.
The plastic backbox is dark grey and the hinged door is light grey. The supplied Allen key opens the door. Three fixing points secure the enclosure, with a keyhole at one position. The enclosure accessories comprise one Allen key, two M4 screws, two M4 posi pan screws and seven hole plugs.
The enclosure measures 245mm wide by 227mm high by 77mm deep and has IP31 ingress protection. With an S4-34410 fitted, the combined weight is 1047g; with an S4-34420 or S4-34450 fitted, it is 1055g.
We recommend this box for the four channel S4-34450, whose loop connections and four channel cable runs meet at one position. For a single input or one output and one input module, our usual choice is the small metal S4-34492 with 20mm and 25mm knockouts. The M200E-SMB surface box is a cost-effective option for a single module. The S4-34496 holds six interfaces together.
