The Gent S4-34415 is a loop-powered single channel output-only interface, supplied complete with relay and enclosure for the Vigilon system. It carries LPCB approval to EN54-17:2005 and EN54-18:2005, with EN54-17 short-circuit handling and individual addressing for enhanced system integrity and flexible cause-and-effect. The unit operates in up to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing) across +5C to +45C and is compatible with Loop software V3.93/V4.35 and Main Control Card V3.94 and above.
Technical overview
The S4-34415 is a loop-powered single channel output-only interface from Gent by Honeywell, part of the Vigilon range within the S4 Interfaces & Accessories sub-range of Low Voltage Interfaces. Built around an integral relay and enclosure, it provides addressable switched-output control within fire detection and alarm systems that call for individual addressing and enhanced integrity. As a mains-switching interface it draws power directly from the detection loop, so no separate local supply is needed.
The unit holds LPCB approval to EN54-17:2005 and EN54-18:2005. Per-device short-circuit handling under EN54-17 helps the loop keep functioning through fault conditions, while individual addressing maximises information flow and supports flexible cause-and-effect programming across the Vigilon architecture. It is rated for non-condensing operation and works with the current Vigilon Loop and Main Control Card software revisions.
