The Gent M210EA-CZR is a conventional zone interface/monitor module with a built-in EOL resistor that links a zone of conventional devices to an intelligent system controlled by an addressable panel. The built-in resistor makes the CZR especially suitable for an intrinsically safe conventional zone. Superseding the M210E-CZR, it accepts a conventional zone external supply of 14.5 to 28.5 V (18 to 28.5 V if loop powered), limits zone load internally to 60 mA and supports a maximum conventional line resistance of 50 Ω.
Technical overview
M210EA-CZR is a Morley Addressable Devices Conventional Zone Interface / Monitor Module within the Addressable Interface modules range, specifically designed as a Zone Monitor. It supersedes the M210E-CZR by incorporating a built-in 3.9 kΩ, 5% end-of-line resistor, enabling direct interfacing of conventional zones to intelligent addressable panels while supporting intrinsic safety applications. The module accepts a conventional zone external supply voltage ranging from 14.5 to 28.5 V, or 18 to 28.5 V when loop powered, and internally limits the zone load to a maximum of 60 mA.
Key electrical characteristics include a standby current of 120 µA max under external supply at 24 V and 25°C, reducing to 6.3 mA when loop powered under identical conditions. LED indication draws 1.3 mA for red and 4.5 mA for yellow states. The device supports a maximum conventional line resistance of 50 Ω and specifies maximum standby load currents of 2.8 mA for detectors at 18 V and 3.8 mA at 24 V. Environmental tolerances cover 5% to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing), with ingress protection rated IP44 when mounted in the M200E-SMB enclosure or IP30 otherwise. Maximum wire gauge accommodation is 2.5 mm². Compatible accessories include the M200E-SMB interface enclosure and M200E-DIN DIN rail mounting clip.
