What it is and how it fits the system.

The Morley M210EA-CZ/M210EA-CZR is a single input conventional zone interface (monitor) module from the redesigned System Sensor M200 wired Input/Output range. It allows conventional detectors to be interfaced to System Sensor analogue addressable systems, available in a CZ variant with EOL capacitor and a CZR variant with EOL resistor. Replacing the earlier M210E-CZ and M210E-CZR parts, it carries a 16.5 V LED cutoff voltage and is rated IP30.

Technical overview

M210EA is a single input conventional zone interface (monitor) module from the redesigned System Sensor M200 wired Input/Output range, made for Morley Addressable Devices. It allows conventional detectors to be interfaced to System Sensor analogue addressable systems, and comes in CZ and CZR variants fitted with an EOL capacitor and an EOL resistor respectively. Replacing the earlier M210E-CZ and M210E-CZR parts, it carries a 16.5 V LED cutoff voltage and is rated IP30.

Zone power is drawn either from the communications line or a 24V PSU, and a single tri-colour LED reports module status. The module can sit on an M200E-SMB low profile surface-mounting box or clip onto a standard 35 mm x 7.5 mm DIN rail inside a control panel or other suitable enclosure. Built-in short circuit isolators and open and short circuit fault monitoring are included, along with remote reset of the conventional zone.

Certified to EN 54-17: 2005 and EN 54-18: 2005, the M210EA works with S300/ECO1000, 100, 400, EC series, and 6500RE/6500RSE optical beam detectors, with IS conventional detector support limited to the CZR variant. It supersedes the M210E series and operates from -20°C to 60°C.
