The M201EA-240 is an intelligent addressable, loop-powered two-pole relay module from the Series 200 plus input/output range, providing one two-pole voltage-free relay output with one normally open contact and one normally closed contact. It is a bistable device, latching in the On or Off state on command from the control panel, and it is suitable for managing 240VAC loads, with addressing set through rotary switches across an address range of 1 to 99.

The module operates from 15 V dc to 32 V dc. Maximum standby current is 27 µA (no communication), while fault current is 5.5 mA with the yellow LED illuminated and coil activation and deactivation draws 76 mA maximum for 12 milliseconds. Contacts are rated 5 amps @ 30 V dc, 5 amps @ 100 V rms (audio) and 5 amps @ 250 V ac (power). Built-in short circuit protection covers the communications loop, and short-circuits on the intelligent addressable loop are detected automatically.

Mechanically the module measures 82 x 22 x 99 mm excluding plug in terminal blocks, weighs 118 g, accepts wire up to 2.5 mm² and is rated IP 30 over a -20°C to 60°C operating range. It is VdS and CPR approved and EN 62368-1 certified. One restriction applies: for NZS 4512:2021-compliant fire panels and ancillary devices, the M201EA-240 must not be connected to 230 volt ac mains power circuits.
