Description
The Gent S3-GASKET-IP55 is an adhesive gasket accessory for the deep back box of an S-Cubed sounder. The pack contains ten gaskets, one per device, for ten sounders. With the gasket fitted, the deep back box provides IP55 protection. Fit the rim gasket inside the box, keeping its outside edge near the inner wall. The round gasket goes on the back of the box, centred after its middle cutout has been removed. Peel away the backing before fitting and press the adhesive faces firmly onto the moulding. The deep back box is also called the standard deep base. Type A (IP21) S-Cubed devices remain for internal wall installation.

The Gent S3-GASKET-IP55 provides IP55 protection when fitted to an S-Cubed device's deep back box. The pack contains ten gaskets for ten sounders, with one gasket per device. The deep back box is the standard deep base at the rear of the wall mounted unit.
Remove the rim gasket from its backing and place its adhesive face inside the box. Keep the outside edge near the moulding's inner wall and press the gasket into contact with the surface.
Remove the backing and middle cutout from the round gasket. Centre it on the outside rear face of the box with the adhesive towards the moulding, then press it firmly into place.
The Type A (IP21) S-Cubed Mark 3 range is for internal wall installation. Fitting the gasket provides IP55 protection at the deep back box; these devices must still be installed indoors.
