The Gent S3-V-W is a wall-mounted S-Cubed Mark 3 Type A voice sounder with a white body, for use in compatible GENT Vigilon fire alarm systems. Operating at 35-48V and rated IP21, it delivers 103dB(A) +/-3dB at 1m from a V2-rated polycarbonate housing on an ABS base.
Technical overview
The Gent S3-V-W is a wall-mounted S-Cubed Mark 3 Type A voice sounder with a white body, designed for use in compatible GENT Vigilon fire alarm systems. It operates at 35V–48V and delivers a sound level of 103dB(A) +/-3dB at 1m from a V2-rated polycarbonate housing on an ABS base, with an IP21 ingress protection rating.
Certified to EN54-3:2001, A1:2002, A2:2006 for sounder performance and EN54-17:2005 for short-circuit isolation, the device supports programmable message and attention tone periods configurable from 10 to 30 seconds via commissioning tools. Its flash memory holds up to 20 seconds of audio and bell tone, while IR remote volume control functions within a 3m operating range.
Compatible with the S3-BASE-SW shallow base (white body, pack of five) and the S3-CONTROL IR remote, the S3-V-W features three LPCB-approved signals: intermittent 970Hz ±10% @ 1Hz, alternating 730Hz/970Hz ±10% @ 2Hz, and continuous high tone 970Hz ±10%. Ambient operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +50°C, with storage from -20°C to +70°C. Wiring details are referenced in the installation manual.
