The 805590 is the standard detector base for the ES Detect conventional, non-addressable automatic detector range. Moulded in white ABS to a finish similar to RAL 9010, it supports detector operation from 8 to 42 V DC with a typical 9 mA alarm current at 9 V DC. Rated for air speeds to 25.4 m/s and IP43 ingress protection with the base and option.
Technical overview
The 805590 is the standard detector base for the ES Detect conventional, non-addressable automatic detector range. Moulded in white ABS to a finish similar to RAL 9010, it supports detector operation from 8 to 42 V DC with a typical 9 mA alarm current at 9 V DC. Rated for air speeds up to 25.4 m/s, it provides IP43 ingress protection when used with the base and option.
Designed for use with conventional detectors in the ES Detect range, the base is compatible with a variety of devices including fixed heat, rate of rise heat, optical smoke, and intrinsically safe detectors. It operates within a storage temperature range of -25°C to 75°C and a minimum operating temperature of -20°C, with air humidity below 95%. The base weighs approximately 110 g and has dimensions of Ø 117 mm and a height of 49 mm (62 mm including the base).
