Gent Fixed Heat Detector

The 800171 is a Conventional ES Detect non-addressable fixed-temperature heat detector designed for use in conventional fire alarm systems. Built around a fast semiconductor sensor, it provides reliable fixed-temperature detection with an alarm trigger point aligned to EN 54-5 class A1S standards. This detector operates across a wide voltage range from 8 to 42 V DC, drawing a typical alarm current of 9 mA at 9 V DC and maintaining a low quiescent current of approximately 25 µA.

It is rated for application temperatures between -20°C and 50°C and can function in air speeds ranging from 0 to 25.4 m/s, making it suitable for varied environmental conditions. Storage conditions extend from -25°C to 75°C with humidity tolerance below 95%. The unit is constructed from ABS plastic, finished in white (similar to RAL 9010), and achieves an IP43 ingress protection rating when installed with the appropriate base and optional accessories. Weighing approximately 110 g, it is compatible with a range of detector bases including the 805590 and 805590-D models, as well as Xenex control panels such as 13270-02LB, 13270-04LB, and 13270-08LB, and supports remote LED indication via the 781814 accessory.
