Gent 803374.EX O2T Intrinsically Safe Multisensor

803374 is a wired, intrinsically-safe dual optical/heat smoke detector designed for ATEX zone-1 environments. The unit fits directly into detector base 805590 and works in both ES conventional and intrinsically-safe detection systems.

Operating on 8 V DC to 42 V DC, the detector is certified to EN 54-7 : 2006 / -5 B : 2000 / A1 : 2002 and CEA 4021, with VdS approval G 204061 and CE certificate 0786 - CPD - 20105/20106. Explosion protection is rated Ex ib IIC T4 Gb, validated by ATEX examination certificate TÜV 09 ATEX 554910, and the assembly achieves ATEX category II 2G when used with safety barrier 764744/804744. A flashing red LED provides the alarm indication.

For hazardous areas the detector must be operated exclusively with its Ex safety barriers, part number 764744/804744, and it is commissioned, tested and maintained only with the 8000 service and programming software.

Constructed from ABS and finished in white, similar to RAL 9010, the detector weighs approximately 110 g and measures Ø 117 mm with a height of 62 mm on base 805590, reaching IP 43 with the base and an optional gasket. Ambient operation spans -20 °C to +65 °C, storage is rated between -25 °C and +75 °C, and the unit tolerates up to 95% relative humidity, non-condensing, while staying stable in moving air up to 25.4 m/s.
