Description
The Gent 805597 is a pack of four SAFT LS14500 3.6V lithium batteries, approved and recommended for powering Gent plexus wireless devices including the Wireless Detector Adapter Base, Wireless Node, Wireless MCP and Wireless Sounder/Strobe in a Vigilon system. Four batteries are required per device, each weighing 16 g. Old and new cells must never be mixed; always replace as a complete set.
805597 is a replacement battery pack for host units 805593 and 805601. The pack is the approved power source for a set of plexus fire-detection field devices - such as detector adapter bases, nodes, manual call points and sounder/strobe units - that report back through a Loop Radio Transceiver wired to a Vigilon loop.

805597 is a replacement battery pack for host units 805593 and 805601. The pack is the approved power source for a set of plexus fire-detection field devices - such as detector adapter bases, nodes, manual call points and sounder/strobe units - that report back through a Loop Radio Transceiver wired to a Vigilon loop.
This pack is made up of four SAFT LS14500 lithium cells, each rated at 3.6 V and weighing 16 g, with all four needed to power a device. The cells are rated for storage between -20 °C and +30 °C, and old and new cells must never be mixed, so the complete set is always changed together.
Remaining capacity is monitored automatically, and a fault is shown at the panel when replacement is due, which then has to be carried out within 14 days. Shorting the cell contacts or fitting the wrong cell type creates an explosion risk. At end of life, the pack and its packaging should go to a suitable recycling centre following the maker's guidance and local regulations, and never into normal household waste or a fire.
