Gent Vigilon VIGPLUS-72 6-Loop Fire Panel EN54

VIGPLUS-72 is the one-to-six loop analogue addressable fire detection control panel in the Vigilon Plus range from Gent by Honeywell, superseding the VIG1-72. In the six-loop configuration the panel holds full 72-hour standby capacity through an integral EN54-4 PSU working with external batteries, and approval covers EN54 Parts 2 & 4.

Loops accept up to 200 devices apiece with alarm current headroom of 800 mA per loop, enough for 100 sensor sounder VADs, while EN54-2 restricts four and six loop Vigilon panels to a maximum of 512 sensors and call points. Standby battery sizing is based on four or eight 21 Ah blocks, and a battery box is necessary only for the superseded VIG1-72 six loop model. Detection hardware from Gent's S-Quad range is fully compatible, bringing multi-sensor, speech, sounder and EN54-23 visual alarm functions together in one intelligent unit on the same two-core loop as call points and interfaces, and an extended event log runs on a flash memory card.

The VIG72-UPGR Vigilon upgrade kit covers upgrades, the VIG-LPC loop card expands loop capacity, and the VIG-LPC-EN Vigilon loop card is a further compatible option. Networking of up to 200 panels in a multi-domain structure runs over copper through the VIG-NC card or over fibre through the VIG-NC-FO multimode and VIG-NC-SMF single-mode cards, alongside the compatible VIGPLUS-RPT repeat panel. Finish options take in the VIG-DOOR-SS stainless steel door, VIG-FLUSH-SS stainless steel flush mounting kit, VIG-24-FLUSH flush surround and custom colour outer doors.
