The Gent S4-34741-99 is a pack of five light shields for the S4-34742 beam sensor receiver. The shield protects the receiving optics where direct sunlight or another strong light source would otherwise reach the receiving end of the beam path. It lines up with the black lens retainer and pushes into place until it locks with a click. Each shield is 50mm in diameter and 75mm long, with a weight of about 14g. One shield fits one receiver, so the pack can serve five receivers where shielding is needed. The shield is used at the receiving head of an S4 beam pair and must not be fitted to its transmitter.

Align the shield with the receiver's black lens retainer and push it into place until it clicks into the locked position. The S4-34741 transmitter has a red lens retainer and must not have this shield fitted.
Each shield is 50mm in diameter by 75mm long and weighs approximately 14g. The pack contains five shields. With one shield on each receiver needing protection from strong light, one pack serves up to five receivers.
The receiver works with an S4-34741 transmitter, or as the receiving head supplied in the S4-34740 pair. Each sensor head mounts on a base fixed to an angle or parallel bracket. The shield fits to the receiver's lens retainer at the front of the head.
