The Gent S4-34741 is the transmitter half of the S-Quad loop-powered optical beam detector pair, providing linear beam detection on Vigilon and Nano systems over a transmission path of 2 to 100m. Operating at 35-41V, it supports 16 beam pairs per loop and can be set to one of 6 sensitivity states. Auto-gain adjustment enables one-man commissioning, and an LED array of two red and seven green indicators, visible at 500 lux ambient, assists alignment.
Technical overview
The Gent by Honeywell S4-34741 is the transmitter half of the S-Quad loop-powered optical beam detector pair, providing linear beam detection on Vigilon and Nano systems over a transmission path of 2 to 100m. Operating at 35-41V, it supports 16 beam pairs per loop and can be set to one of 6 sensitivity states. Auto-gain adjustment enables one-man commissioning, and an LED array of two red and seven green indicators, visible at 500 lux ambient, assists alignment.
The transmitter features an ABS plastic enclosure in RAL 9010 with dimensions of 117 x 117 x 54mm and a weight of 105g. It is certified to EN54:Part12 and EN54:Part17 and holds LPCB approval for STATES 0, 1, 2 and 3. Required accessories include mounting brackets and bases (S4-34741-01 and S4-34741-03), while an obscuration test card set (S4-34741-50) is recommended for testing.
