The Xtralis 020-050-E is an IP66-rated detector enclosure built to complement the VESDA range, accommodating a VESDA-E VEU, VESDA-E VEP, VESDA-E VES or VESDA VLF detector. A hinged door provides easy access for installation and maintenance, while predrilled inlet and exhaust holes streamline pipework connection. Its IP66 sealing makes it suited to demanding environments where the detector requires protection from dust and water ingress.
Technical overview
The Xtralis 020-050-E is a detector enclosure designed to complement the VESDA range, accommodating either a VESDA-E VEU, VESDA-E VEP, VESDA-E VES or VESDA VLF detector. It forms part of the VESDA E Spares range and supersedes the earlier 020-050 enclosure.
Rated to IP66, the housing seals the detector against dust and water ingress, making it well suited to demanding industrial and commercial environments. Access for installation and ongoing maintenance is straightforward, and the front lets the onboard display be read without opening the unit. Pipework connection is simplified because the inlet and exhaust points arrive ready-formed.
Compatible detectors span models fitted with LED indicators as well as those carrying a 3.5-inch display, so the enclosure can be paired with the variant that matches the installation. Terminal-by-terminal wiring and other physical connection details are not covered here; refer to the installation manual for those procedures.
