Description

The VESDA VLF-250-00 is an early warning air sampling smoke detector using laser based aspirated smoke detection technology for small, critical environments, and it monitors areas up to 250 m² (2690 sq. ft.) dependant on local codes and standards. The -00 code is the European language set with English display labels. Power Consumption is 220 mA nominal, 295 mA in alarm.

VLF-250-00 is the ordering code for VESDA VLF-250-00 European language set, English display labels.

The VESDA VLF-250 early warning air sampling smoke detector incorporates world leading VESDA very early warning laser based aspirated smoke detection technology. It provides localized fire risk management solutions for small, critical environments. The VLF-250 monitors areas up to 250 m² (2690 sq. ft.) dependant on local codes and standards.

Power Consumption at a 24 VDC Supply is 220 mA nominal, 295 mA in alarm. The product must use a power supply conforming to EN54: Part 4. For a Class A detector, hole sensitivity must be better than 1.5% obscuration/m and transport time less than 60 seconds for VLF-250 direct sampling and 90 seconds for VLF-250 capillary sampling.
