Description

The Xtralis VSP-005 is a Universal filter assembly, a single-use replacement air filter cartridge for VESDA VLP, VLS, VLC and VLF aspirating smoke detectors, supplied under order code 3216. It cannot be cleaned or reused: the system raises a minor fault at 80% capacity and an urgent fault at 120%, with service intervals dependent on the environment. After replacement, the filter counter is reset using the LCD Programmer or a PC.

The Xtralis VSP-005 is a Universal filter assembly, a single-use replacement air filter cartridge for VESDA VLP, VLS, VLC and VLF aspirating smoke detectors, supplied under order code 3216. It is designed exclusively for use with these detector models and cannot be cleaned or reused after installation.

The system generates a minor fault indication when the filter reaches 80% of its capacity and an urgent fault at 120%, with service intervals varying according to environmental conditions. Following replacement, the filter counter must be reset using either the LCD Programmer or a PC running Xtralis VSC software to ensure accurate monitoring of the new filter’s lifecycle.
