Technical overview
VIG-NC-DOM-FO is a Vigilon Plus Domain Bridge component from Gent by Honeywell, designed to link two Vigilon networks or domains via a Domain bridge IO card. It occupies backplane socket P7 and supports network media transmission over multi-mode 62.5/125 µm fibre optic cable at 820nm wavelength using ST socket termination.
The unit enables communication across a secure loop topology, supporting baud rates of 19.2K, 38.4K, 115.2K and 230.4K, with an address range of 1 to 64 for up to 64 small Vigilon networks. It measures 144mm in height by 100mm in width and weighs approximately 82g, operating within 0°C to 45°C and storing between -10°C and 55°C in up to 90% non-condensing relative humidity. Installation requires socket P7 of the backplane, and physical connections should follow the installation manual. It is compatible with BS Network Vigilon V3+ and 3400 systems (SKU: 2211-140).
