Description
The FLEX Series belongs to the Fire Alarm Aspiration Sensing Technology (FAAST) family, and FLX-020 is its 2-pipe Stand-alone model: an aspirating smoke detector giving early warning detection from a dedicated high sensitivity smoke sensor.
Every sensing channel is built from an inlet, a metallic filter and a sensing element. DIP switches on the circuit board normally set the unit up, while a USB port on that same board lets maintenance technicians pull event logs off it. Parts needing periodic attention are placed so they stay easy to reach whatever the cabling situation, and an in-line filter (Xtralis VSP-850, System Sensor F-INF-25) can be installed on the pipe work close to the inlet. Within the FAAST FLEX range the spare parts are the FLX-SP-01 sensing module, the FLX-SP-02 metal filter (pack of 6), the FLX-SP-03-EN and FLX-SP-03-CH front covers, the FLX-SP-04 aspirator, the FLX-SP-05-EN and FLX-SP-05-CH internal covers sets and the FLX-SP-06 adaptor set.
