Description
A FAAST FLEX aspirating smoke detector carries its smoke sensing in a module that can be changed on site, and FLX-SP-01 is that module. It belongs to the FAAST FLEX range.
Access starts at the cover. Six locking tabs, released with a small screwdriver, hold the Sensing Module Cover; with the cover off, pressing two latches inward frees the sensor so the old module can be lifted clear. The new one is installed, held down and locked by pushing the latches outward again, after which the Sensing Module Cover is pressed home until its tabs engage and every one of the six is confirmed secure before the outer cover returns.
