Description
The single-loop panel in the ZXSe range, 722-001-301 handles one loop at 460mA maximum and runs from a 230V 50Hz AC mains feed. Serial provision is 2 serial ports with connections for optional RS485 or RS232 plug-in communication cards, and Maximum 99 panels can be networked using a Master Network and connected Sub-Networks. Multiple sensor protocols cannot be used in the panel simultaneously.

An intermittent buzzer marks a fault condition and a high-pitched continuous buzzer a fire condition. Ambient operation is 0°C to +40°C at 85% non-condensing (maximum), cabinet weight is 10 kg measured without batteries, and cable entry is by 14 x 20mm knock-outs in the top and 2 x 20mm knock-outs in the bottom.
722-001-301 is the ZX1Se Fire Alarm Control Panel, the single-loop member of the ZXSe range. It takes 230V 50Hz AC (+10%, -15% voltage tolerance) and carries a loop capacity of 1 Loop 460mA Maximum.
Its supply is rated 2.5A total, with a 0.5 Amp battery charger and a general system load of 1.8A @ 24V nominal, standing on 24V sealed lead acid batteries between 2x 12V 7Ah and 2x 12V 12Ah. Loop population depends on protocol, at Max. 126 devices (detectors and modules) per loop for Apollo, Nittan and Hochiki, or Max. 99 sensor and 99 module addresses per loop for Morley-IAS and System Sensor. Multiple sensor protocols cannot be used in the panel simultaneously.
Zones reach 200 (max), and up to 20 zone with individual LED indicators can be shown alongside a 4x40-character LCD alphanumeric display with back-light. Programming uses an alphanumeric multi-level keypad with 15 keys and 5 control keys: YES, NO, CHANGE, ENTER and SHIFT, while front controls cover Sound Alarms, Silence/Resound, Mute Buzzer, Accept and System Reset.
Two programmable sounder outputs give open and short circuit monitoring at 1A maximum per output (Maximum total load 1.3A), with 1 fault and 1 fire relay on voltage free changeover contacts rated at 24V AC/DC, 1A, 0.6 PF maximum. The painted sheet steel cabinet is sealed to IP30 and measures 400 x 400 x 135 (H x W x D).
