Description

The module sits on the serial link between the panel and its peripheral units. Signal levels arriving on the serial input/output channel are converted to the levels of the RS485 Communications Interface Standard, and that same channel carries optical (galvanic) isolation. A maximum of 31 peripheral units can be connected to the panel using the module.

795-004-001 is an RS-485 communication module. It provides optical (galvanic) isolation for the serial input/output channel and translates the signal levels of that channel to RS485 Communications Interface Standard levels. Up to 31 peripheral units can be connected to the panel through it.
