The Morley 795-015 is a 4-way sounder PCB from the ZX range peripheral card family. Designed to mount on the 797-076 peripheral mounting bracket, it adds four sounder circuits to the panel for expanding audible notification capacity.
Technical overview
795-015 identifies the Morley 4-way sounder PCB, the peripheral card that expands audible notification capacity on the ZX range of fire panels by adding four sounder circuits.
Physical installation relies on the 797-076 bracket: fitted there, the card sits within the ZX5e or the 38Ahr battery enclosure, and the same bracket can alternatively be mounted in the large battery box, part number 797-025-001. Communication with the host runs over the RS485 peripheral port, so an RS485 communication card (795-004-001) must be fitted in the ZX panel.
Power for the sounder card comes from a 24-28Vdc external supply, a role the 795-016 Sounder Booster Unit PSU is listed to fill, and the 795-038-001 Hi-485 high integrity module is a further accessory option for the card.
