Description

Apollo Discovery and XP95 are the protocols open to this card, with 460mA the rating it carries.

Drive reaches 460mA (pulse signalling current), taken from a loop running at 35V - signaling pulses, while the card itself asks 12mA (excluding loop devices). Resistance must stay within 100 Ohm max. and capacitance within 0.5μF max.; with a loop resistance > 40 Ohms, double address detection cannot be guaranteed. Which end of the loop is under drive is shown by two diagnostic LEDs.

Size is 105 x 54 x 25 mm at 44 gr., with an operating window of 0°C to 49°C and humidity 85% non-condensing. Loop connections are made at motherboard screw terminals in a removable block, for cable of maximum cross sectional area 2.5mm2 (13AWG), and the loop is run as class A or class B in shielded, twisted wire.

795-066-100 is a loop driver card for Apollo Discovery or XP95 Protocols, carrying a 460mA rating. Loop devices on the circuit it drives therefore work to one of those two Apollo protocols. The loop is driven at 35V - signaling pulses, and the card's own consumption is 12mA (excluding loop devices).
