Description

Two Apollo protocols are open to this card, Discovery and XP95, and loop devices built for either can be driven from it.

Consumption at the card itself is 40mA (excluding loop devices), while drive reaches 250mA (continuous) per driver and the loop runs at >25 V + signaling pulses. Ceilings on the circuit are 36 Ohm max. resistance and 0.6 µ F max. capacitance, and a single LED signals communication with a device.

795-066 is an Apollo XP95 and Discovery series loop driver card. It plugs in as a loop driver card and works to Apollo Discovery or XP95 Protocols, driving loop devices built for either protocol. The card measures 90 x 54 x 25 mm and weighs 32 gr. (1 oz).

On the electrical side the card drives its loop at >25 V + signaling pulses while drawing 40mA (excluding loop devices) itself. Maximum continuous loop drive current is 250mA (continuous) per driver. The loop circuit it will work into is rated at 36 Ohm max. resistance and 0.6 µ F max. capacitance.
