The Morley 797-061 is the ZX1Se intelligent fire alarm control panel from the Morley-IAS ZXSe range, driving a single loop rated to 460mA maximum across up to 200 zones. It combines 20 LED zonal indicators, an internal sounder, an alphanumeric multi-level programming keypad and two programmable sounder outputs with open and short-circuit monitoring. Voltage-free fire and fault relays plus two serial ports support integration into wider systems.
Technical overview
797-061 is the Morley-IAS ZX1Se Fire Alarm Control Panel, a single-loop panel in the ZXSE Range, addressing one loop rated to 460 mA alongside coverage that reaches 200 zones.
Two serial ports give the panel its expansion path, taking optional plug-in cards in RS485 or RS232 form, and the 795-057 MODBUS interface unit calls for an RS485 card fitted in the panel. Further options are the Hi-485 communication module, a PCB-only item, and an isolated USB lead covering upload and download duties. Printing can be handled by an internal printer or an external remote printer module, while the ZXr-P passive repeater provides an LCD with system status indicators and the ZXr-A active repeater combines LCD and system status indication with user controls.
The operator's side of the panel groups twenty LED zonal indicators with an internal sounder and puts programming on an alphanumeric multi-level keypad; commands span alarm sounding, silence and resound, buzzer mute, accept and system reset. Signalling runs through two programmable sounder outputs — supervised for open and short circuit, 1 A apiece against a 1.3 A combined limit — plus voltage-free fire and fault relays on changeover contacts. A Morley-IAS loop driver card at 460 mA, LED display indicator cards in 20-zone and 60-zone sizes, a ZX1Se glass door kit and bezel kit and the ZX1SE/ZX2SE battery box round off the compatibility roster, with physical wiring and terminal connections detailed in the installation manual.
