Vision 2020BSD Standard Base with Schottky Diode

2020BSD is a detector mounting base that carries a built-in Schottky diode, giving Vision-series conventional heads a fixed point to sit on and a route into the field wiring. The diode blocks reverse current across that connection, so the detection circuit continues to signal in the intended direction. Belonging to the Conventional Detection Vision Range, the base is one of several interchangeable options for the family, and choosing it adds 45g to the completed assembly.

A single base choice covers the whole Vision detector line, which means the 2020R rate-of-rise heat head, the 2020F fixed-temperature thermal, the 2020HF high fixed-temperature thermal, the 2020PT optical-thermal multi-criteria head and the 2020P optical detector can all be seated on it. Listed alongside the 2020B, 2020DB and 2020DBSD as an approved base for that family, the unit also works across a wide spread of conventional fire alarm panels.
