Description

The 2020PT brings optical and thermal sensing together in one conventional head: an optical chamber and a heat element, run by sophisticated algorithms, give quick and accurate detection of fires. Declaration is against EN54 Part 7 and EN54 Part 5, with approval to EN54-7:2000 (Amendment 1), classification A1R under EN54 - 5:2000 (Amendment 1) and compliance with CEA 4021. LPCB and CE approval is held. The detector's certificate number is 0832 0832-CPD-0182.

Unwanted alarm conditions can be triggered in class A1R detectors when the ambient operating temperature passes 45ºC, so 45ºC is the maximum for this head. Quiescent draw is 60µA Typical @ 24VDC, 25°C, and the detector weighs 78g on its own.
