The 2020P is a conventional photo-electronic (optical) smoke detector from the Vision range, pairing a state-of-the-art optical chamber with an ASIC for quick, accurate fire detection. It operates from 14 to 28VDC (nominal 24VDC) with a 45µA typical quiescent current, 60µA maximum standby current and 70mA maximum alarm current at 28VDC. Housed in 102mm-diameter ABS standing 32.5mm high and weighing 75g, its latching alarm resets by momentary power interruption.
Technical overview
2020P is a conventional photo-electronic (optical) smoke detector from the Conventional Detection Vision Range. It pairs an advanced optical chamber with an ASIC for quick, accurate fire detection. The device operates from 14 to 28VDC (nominal 24VDC) with a 45µA typical quiescent current, 60µA maximum standby current and 70mA maximum alarm current at 28VDC.
Housed in 102mm-diameter ABS standing 32.5mm high and weighing 75g, its latching alarm resets by momentary power interruption. The detector approximates RAL9016 in colour and supports wire gauges from 0.4mm² to 2.0mm² for terminals. It functions in application temperatures from –30°C to +70°C and 5 to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing). The 2020P is EN54 part 7 certified and holds LPCB and CE approvals. It requires a Vision detector base such as the 2020B for mounting.
