The Xtralis VSP-981-W is a white 4mm standard sampling point for the VESDA-E VEA aspirating detection series, mounted in a ceiling with a void and connected to 4mm microbore air-sampling tubes. Each patented sampling point is fully supervised and automatically cleaned by the detector, with a swivel-joint inlet and blind mounting that remove any need to access the void above.
Technical overview
VSP-981-W is a white 4mm standard sampling point for Xtralis VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection, a single ceiling-mounted head joined to the 4mm microbore air-sampling tube behind it.
Ceiling fixing takes either of two forms, screwed direct or held in a ceiling tile by the retainer housing, and because the point mounts blind the void needs no attention once its tube is installed. An inlet swivel joint lets the tube turn to suit the run.
The detector holds every patented VEA point and tube alike under full supervision and carries out point cleaning automatically.
For quantity ordering, the same white point carries the code VSP-981-W22 in packs of twenty-two, and VSP-978, the sample point head removal key, is the related accessory.
