Description

A swivel joint on the inlet allows flexible orientation of the tube, and the 4mm inlet suits appropriate microbore tubes. This is a standard sampling point, so it belongs in a ceiling with a void, the tube running above and the point sitting in the ceiling itself. The point can be fixed by screwing it to the ceiling, or by a retainer.

Once the tubes are through the ceiling nothing further is required inside the void, which is what blind mounting means here. The detector supervises the point and its tube in full. End to end supervision, together with system integrity monitoring, is what cuts 90% from VEA system servicing and maintenance time when measured against typical spot detection solutions.
