The Xtralis VSP-981-W22 supplies the white 4mm standard sampling point for the VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection series in a pack of 22. Each patented sampling point and microbore tube is fully supervised and automatically cleaned by the detector, with a swivel-joint inlet for optimum tube orientation and direct or ceiling-tile mounting.
Technical overview
VSP-981-W22 groups twenty-two white 4mm standard sampling points for Xtralis VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection under one ordering code, the W marking the white finish.
VEA installations of this pattern place microbore tubes in the ceiling void and the sampling points in the ceiling itself, each 4mm inlet suiting 4mm microbore tube. Fixing is a screw straight into the ceiling or a ceiling-tile arrangement with the retainer housing, and with blind mounting the void never needs revisiting after tube is run.
Detector supervision covers point and tube alike, cleaning is automated from the detector, and the inlet swivels so the tube can be orientated as the layout demands. VSP-978, the VEA sample point head removal key, is the accessory noted alongside this pack, while tube connection and mounting detail is the installation manual's territory.
