VESDA-E STX PSU 3A (7-24AH) - BLACK

VPS-250-STX5 is the 3A 12-24Ah PSU of the Series 5 range, built in the black Style STX5 case. It is the deeper unit of the range, intended for installation with a VESDA-E VEU detector at all fan speeds, and its internal charger conforms to EN54-4 and is designed for a continuous 24 V direct current supply of 3 A.

Load capability is 3 / 3,4A, the 3,4A setting not being certified to EN 54-4; on that setting loads of up to 3,4 A can be powered while batteries of up to 24 Ah are charged in accordance with EN 54-4. Batteries of up to 24 Ah fit, arranged as 2 x 12 V, 12Ah, 2 x 12 V, 17Ah or 2 x 12V, 24Ah, with a 7,5A MINI automotive fuse on the battery circuit and a 2A HRC fuse on the AC side, both 20mm.

The case measures 300mm x 350mm x 198mm and weighs 5,8kg empty, rising to 25kg with the maximum battery complement. It hangs on four 5mm holes at 286mm x 240mm centres and offers six knockouts of 20/25 mm in various positions. An internal channel carries the detector outlet through two 27mm openings, useful where 25mm pipe must be returned into the protected area. A changeover fault relay, NO-COM-NC rated 1A at 30Vdc, can be watched over by the general purpose input (GPI) of the VESDA-E detector or by a relay input at the fire alarm control panel.
